The short version
- Unlimit is free for students. Universities pay us when you enrol, and that never changes what we recommend.
- What we show you is information, not legal or immigration advice. Data comes from official sources but can change, so check before you rely on it.
- Admission, scholarships and visas are decided by universities and governments, not by us.
- Keep your account details accurate and your password private, and use the service fairly.
- These terms are governed by the laws of India.
About these terms
These terms apply when you use unlimitedu.com, the Unlimit study abroad assistant, student accounts and counselling (together, “the service”), run by Unlimit Edu (“Unlimit”, “we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal data, and the gift terms cover the enrolment gift. Both form part of these terms.
What we offer
- A university and program finder covering the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, with admit odds estimated for your profile.
- An AI assistant that answers questions about studying abroad.
- Counsellors who review your shortlist and help with statements of purpose, applications, scholarships, education loans, visas and housing.
- Student accounts to save your profile and track your progress.
The service is free for students. Universities pay us when a student we helped enrols. That never changes which universities we recommend. We may change, add or remove features over time.
Information, not advice
We work hard to keep what we show you accurate, but please read it as guidance, not a guarantee.
- Data from official sources can change. University and program information comes from government and university sources (see credits and data sources). Fees, entry requirements, deadlines and rules change, and sources sometimes contain errors. Figures marked “est.” are our estimates.
- Admit odds are estimates. Safe, Target and Ambitious compare your profile with each university’s estimated entry level. They are not predictions of any university’s decision.
- The assistant can make mistakes. It uses our database and official sources, but AI answers can be wrong or out of date. Check anything important with the university, the government source or your counsellor.
- Currency conversions are approximate and use the rate and date we state.
- Not legal, immigration, financial or tax advice. Our counsellors help you understand requirements and prepare your documents, but you make and submit your own visa or permit application, and we don’t act as your legal or immigration representative. For a decision that depends on the law or your finances, check the official source or ask a qualified adviser.
University and government decisions
Universities decide who they admit, which scholarships they award, their fees and their deadlines. Governments decide visas and study permits. We can’t guarantee an offer, a scholarship, a visa, a work permit or a job, and we aren’t responsible for those decisions or for changes to their rules, fees or timelines.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Your shortlist and your counsellor’s advice depend on it.
- You need to be 18 or over, or have your parent or guardian’s consent (see Children in our privacy policy).
- Keep your password private. You stay signed in on a device for up to 30 days, so sign out on shared devices.
- Tell us straight away at hello@unlimitedu.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- One account per person. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Using the service fairly
Please don’t:
- give false information or submit forged or altered documents, to us or through us to a university;
- copy, scrape or download our data in bulk, or use bots or other automated tools beyond normal browsing;
- try to get around our security or request limits, or interfere with the service;
- use the assistant to create spam or unlawful content, or enter other people’s personal data into it;
- pretend to be someone else, or use the service for someone else without their permission;
- use the service for commercial purposes, such as running an agency, without our written agreement.
We may limit, suspend or close access for anyone who breaks these rules.
Content and data
The text, design and software of the service belong to Unlimit or the people we license them from. University data comes from official sources and is used under their licences, which are listed on our credits page. University names and logos are trademarks of their owners and are shown only to identify each university; their use doesn’t mean the university endorses Unlimit.
You’re welcome to link to our pages and to quote short parts with a link back. Please don’t republish our database or large parts of our content.
Links and other services
The service links to university, government and other websites, and counsellors may talk to you through services such as WhatsApp. Those sites and services have their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for their content or how they work.
Our responsibility to you
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Because it’s free and much of it depends on third parties, to the extent the law allows we aren’t responsible for:
- decisions made by universities, governments, lenders or other third parties;
- losses caused by relying on information without checking the official source, as these terms ask;
- losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen, or indirect losses such as lost opportunities or earnings;
- interruptions or errors caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms as the service changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new date, and tell you by email or on the site before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may stop offering the service or any part of it, and will give reasonable notice where we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to sort it out.
